X2 Resort Kui Buri - Bungalow

Kuiburi is a small remote beach city located in the southern part of Thailand, known by few and valued for its tranquil beaches and beautiful surroundings. Drawing upon the site’s natural beauty, the architect Duangrit Bunnag created a resort that seeks to be harmonious with its environment, both in terms or architecture and the use of building
material engineering.

As such, natura, ecology and simplicity were fundamental themes in X2’s design. Following this principle, local granite stone and wood were used as the primary raw
material engineering, and at least 95% to pass through the property easily, using natural ventilation to help reduce the overall energy consumption of the resort.

Minimalistic House in Iporanga by Arthur Casas


This house is called simply “House in Iporanga” and it was made by Arthur Casas, and is a beautiful example of minimalistic design.


“I always wanted a house in the middle of the forest, in a place where I could relax and recharge my energy”, says Arthur. In the form of two large symmetrical cubes embracing an open space, this home decorator was idealised as his dream home decorator.


Arthur’s aim was interiors in total synergy with exteriors. Bringing the outside in are 11 meter floor to ceiling glass windows, on both ends of the open central space. Cumaru wood paneling runs from top to bottom in an attempt to match and blend in with is beautiful surroundings. - Via
