The cover nestles gently into the substructure – so the seat surface and backrest match perfectly and appear to flow into one another. This is achieved by way of a specially sewn cord mantle in which every single stitch is exactly placed: apertures for the fasteners and end seams are simply sewn neatly in. Another high-quality detail of this chair is the arched backrest that flows out of the armrests and gives the ergonomic chair its special “rear view”.

These in turn have approx. 4 mm thick gaps integrated in the wood at intervals of 15.8 cm. The puristic overall impression is achieved by the tabletop that appears to hover on its support structural materials and has no surrounding frames to detract from its formal design.
