Mind your Manor
A new Sydney heritage-listed development at Little Bay..Bates Smart and Multiplex Living have recently launched stage one of Heritage Manors, part of the Prince Henry at Little Bay site.

Consisting of eight 3 bedroom homes within two heritage-listed buildings the development boasts open plan living areas, over-sized doorways and expansive verandahs.

“Embracing the highly significant existing buildings on the site and engaging with the costal landscape has resulted in a sensitive and innovative design response,” says Simon Swaney – Director of Bates Smart Sydney.

“The homes take advantage of the natural attributes – they’re well lit with natural light, enjoy cross ventilation and good orientation to the winter sun, and they have a strong indoor/outdoor connection.” Despite being within heritage buildings the homes have the latest CBUS technology, undercroft parking and lighting an fibre-optic connections for highspeed internet. The development is due for completion in 2010, but are on the market now from $1.76 million.
